Turkish contracting companies in January-August of this year implemented projects in the amount of $ 11.2 billion abroad. Such data are given by the Ministry of Trade of Turkey.

This year, the number of projects implemented abroad was 148.
The average cost of the project increased from $ 64.9 million last year to $ 75.7 million in 2024.
from 1972 to August, the Turkish contract sector implemented 12,277 projects in 137 countries. Moreover, most of the projects were implemented in Russia. The cost of contracting projects implemented in Russia reached $ 102.3 billion.

Since 1972, Turkish contractors have implemented projects worth $ 34.9 billion in Iraq, $ 31 billion in Libya and $ 29.5 billion in Kazakhstan.
Of the implemented projects, 13.9% were a share of highways, tunnels and bridges, 13.8% – for housing. The share of power plants amounted to 8.6%, shopping centers – 7.1%, and investments in airports – 6.6%.
