Turkish defense industry will increase abilities of army of Azerbaijan

Turkish defense industry to provide Azerbaijan’s army with the opportunity to satisfy the needs for maintenance, repair, updating and modernization of ground equipment regardless of foreign sources.

Another example of cooperation in the field of defense industry of the two countries was the modernized Nakhchivansky military complex, which was opened on Monday, September 25, President Recep Tayip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Anadolu, the project of the Nakhchivansky military complex, which started under the agreement signed between the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the Joint -Stock Company for Management of Military Plants and Shipyards (ASFAT), was successfully completed in seven months.

Thanks to the project, which is one of the most successful examples of ASFAT cooperation with friendly and fraternal countries, the Nakhchivansky military complex was able to accept the 50-year experience of Turkey in this direction.

As part of the project, ASFAT conducted the necessary checks at the maintenance facility of the Nakhchivanskaya Autonomous Republic and determined the requirements.

The project was primarily aimed at ensuring that the infrastructure of the object meets the needs. In this context, such issues as the electric -infrastructure, the design of a special sex, the heating system, the installation of the crane system, as well as the installation of various workshops were planned and completed in a short time.

At the same time, cars, equipment, bench and power test complexes were delivered to Nakhchivansky military complex. Most of the equipment was produced at military plants at the expense of local resources.

The project, implemented in a short time, brought to the agenda the modernization of other military plants and the repair and technical enterprises of Azerbaijan. Preliminary studies on other objects are conducted by ASFAT in agreement with the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
