Turkish Embassy Employees visited memorial to Turkish soldiers in Baku

The employees of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan visited the memorial to Turkish soldiers in Baku on the occasion of the Victory Day of Turkey.

The Ceremony was attended by Turkish Ambassador to Baku Jahit Bagchi, the embassy employees, as well as representatives of Turkish companies operating in the country and Azerbaijani public figures.

those present honored the Turkish military with a minute of silence. Further, the state hymns of Turkey and Azerbaijan were sounded.

Bagchy spoke about the heroism of Turkish soldiers under the command of the founder of the Turkish Republic of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, honored the memory of the dead and noted the importance of Victory Day.

Further, the ambassador laid flowers to the monument.

Embassy staff and other participants in the ceremony also visited the Chekhids alley and laid the wreath to the Monument “Eternal Flame”.
