The volume of Turkish exports over the nine months of this year increased by 3.2 percent compared to the same period of 2023 – to $ 193 billion, and the volume of imports decreased by 7.9 percent to $ 253 billion. This was announced by the Minister of Trade of Turkey Omer Bolat.
The Turkish Minister also commented on the external trade balance of the country.
The Turkish foreign trade deficit in January – September of this year decreased by 31.5 percent compared to the same period last year, from $ 87.7 billion to $ 60.1 billion, he said.
