Turkish Feces On UN Security Council: PKK/YPG/SDF Continues To Be Destabilizing Factor In Syria

The constant representative of Turkey in the United Nations (UN) Ambli -Ambassador Akhmet Yildz said that the PKK/YPG/SDF terrorist organization continues to be a destabilizing factor in Syria.

Yyldyz spoke at a meeting on Syria, organized at the UN Security Council (UN).

Having stated that Syria may be left without the attention of an international agenda because of other serious crises, Yyldyz warned: “The humanitarian situation in the country is catastrophic.”

The ambassador recalled that more than 70 percent of the Syrian society needs humanitarian assistance and this is a direct result of the lack of a political decision.

According to him, the supply of humanitarian aid to Syria is also not sufficiently funded.

“It is important to remember that the reduction of humanitarian financing means a reduction in food, hygiene and protection for millions of women, children, elderly people, disabled people and displaced people,” said the Ambassador Yildiz.

The ambassador emphasized that a very dangerous consequence of the ongoing conflict in Syria is that it allows terrorist organizations to use instability in the country and create a space to implement their separatist plans.

“PKK/YPG/SDF terrorist organization continues to be a destabilizing factor in Syria,” Yildiz warned, emphasizing that the terrorist organization continues to depress and violate the rights of the local population.

Yyldyz noted that the terrorist organization currently prevents the delivery of humanitarian aid to Tal Abjad and Ras al-Ain in the north of Syria.

According to him, the plan of the terrorist organization for the holding of the so -called local elections in the territories occupied by it in Syria directly threatens the unity and territorial integrity of the country, all members of the UN must see these realities and stop maintaining a terrorist organization.

Having emphasized that the only way out of the conflict in Syria is a political decision, Yyldyz urged all parties to avoid one -dimensional policy and intensify the UN process using a holistic approach.
