Turkish Foreign Ministry Called For Peace In Sudan

The official representative of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Ondju Kecheli announced the deep concern of Ankara by the continuing clashes and the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Sudan.

“We are deeply anxious of the escalation of the conflict in Sudan and the growing humanitarian crisis. We again call the parties to the cessation of fire and the world in order to avoid further bloodshed,” Kecheli wrote on his page on the social network X.

The diplomat emphasized that it is extremely important to refrain from steps that can undermine unity, territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Sudan. He also assured that Türkiye is ready to provide any support for the speedy settlement of the conflict and ensuring peace, security and stability in the country.
