The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey expressed deep grief and condolences to the Mozambik people in connection with the death of people as a result of the Cido cyclone.

On December 14, a hurricane “Chido” fell on the French colony of Mayott in the Indian Ocean – one of the main islands that suffered from the climatic crisis.
The statement of the National Institute for the Management of Spontaneous disasters and the mitigation of their consequences (INGD) states that the hurricane “Chido” fell on the coast of the Indian Ocean on December 15.
It was announced that the number of those killed in Mozambique due to the Cido cyclone increased to 94 people.
