The company conducted various tests of the Merküt FPV Kamikadze drone, which was presented at the Saha Expo 2024.
The founder of Savx Technology Abdulla Aktash said that FPV -pivotites are one of the relevant needs for the battlefield. Merküt is developed taking into account this.
Merküt work took about 8 months. The company in this process left behind such stages as designing, checking the structure and its test, integration of ammunition and fuses.
“The flight time is 20 minutes. The flight range reaches 8 kilometers. It is equipped with a control system of controlled ammunition that affects particles. Since the FPV-pivotites are under the control of the operator, he tries to hit the target, while trying to configure the detonation point. This can create certain difficulties for the operator. Therefore, we integrated the approaching sensor that automates the moment of the explosion, which we call the last phase of the mission. Due to this, the distance of the explosion can be selected by the operator in the range from 20 centimeters to 5 meters. The operator is focused only on the defeat of the target, ”Aktash said.
According to him, ammunition is shot automatically when the system is at a certain distance from the target. This function facilitates the operation of operators and increases the efficiency of ammunition. This, in turn, increases the efficiency of ammunition.
The risks are prevented thanks to the fuse system, which is both mechanically and electronically safe. In case of cancellation of the mission, it is possible to carry out safe landing and repeated storage, Aktash said that the fuse can be activated after the airplane reaches a certain height and the supply of certain commands to the operator, and that otherwise it is reliably stored inside.
The purpose of the company is to create a product that can satisfy users’ needs in the field. They developed Merküt as a solution with good resistance to electronic warfare, ease of use and high efficiency of ammunition.
“We conducted many tests for explosion, checked all the characteristics we mentioned in the presence of the participants. Now our product is ready for operation,” he said.
