Turkish freediver set world record

Turkish freediver Shahika Erjyumen broke the world record, plunging into the water to a depth of 106 meters without fins.

The competitions were organized in the Karamagar Bay in the Province of Hatai in the south of Turkey in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic, celebrated this year.

The previous record (105 meters) belonged to the athlete of Serbian descent Lena Balta.
