The Consul General of Turkey in Aleppo Hakan Dzngiz and representatives of the Red Crescent of Turkey visited camps in the north of Syria, where civilians moved by the overwhelmed regime.
Turkish Consul General in Aleppo Jengiz, the coordinator of the Red Crescent of Turkey in Syria Fatikh Kökkan and the delegation accompanying them was visited by the CAFR Rukhin and Babussak camps in Idlib.
The delegation examined the camps and distributed about 500 food parcels to needing families.
Consul General told Anadolu that they visited villages built by the Red Crescent of Turkey and other organizations: “We distribute the parcels prepared by the red crescent here. We are trying to find out what additional needs exist in the villages.”
The consul emphasized that they also studied the process of working with civilians who plan to return to other regions of Syria from the camps, and said: “We were convinced that this process is carried out thanks to important efforts and the work of Governor Idlib.”
The visit was also attended by Deputy Director for Social Affairs and Labor in Idlib Abdurrahman Junaid and Director of the Northern Region Idlib Muhammad al-Hussein.
