Turkish goods for Armenia are no longer dangerous

The head of the Committee of the State Revenues of Armenia Rustam Badasyan does not see the need for the embargo for Turkish goods, the Armenian media write.

According to Badasyan, at the moment there is no such project in circulation, and the introduction of a new embargo is not discussed. Moreover, he noted that he is normally treated.

When asked if he sees the threats that the Armenian economy will be absorbed in Turkish goods, Badasyan answered negatively.

Armenia introduced the embargo on Turkish goods on January 1. Prior to this, Armenia imported goods from Turkey for 250-270 million dollars a year. The ban was lifted from January 1, 2022.
