The National Intelligence Organization of Turkey (Mi̇t) conducted an operation in the Iraqi district of Gara, which was liquidated by Halil Yigit, one of the so -called leaders of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization, known for the call sign of Hogir Pirosi.

According to information from security sources, the special services found that Yigit organized attacks on the Turkish security forces at the direction of the higher leadership of the terrorist organization. Its location was established, and as a result of the operation, it was neutralized.

Halil Yigit joined the criminal organization in 2007. He took part in armed attacks and tears in the area of ​​Silopi of the Turkish province of Shyrnak.
