Turkish Jewelry Exports In January-March Increased By 72.1%

The export of Turkish jewelry in January-March of this year increased by 72.1% compared to the same period last year, to 2 billion 570 million 81 thousand dollars.

The Turkish jewelry sector retains its stability against the background of the continuing trade tension between the United States and China, which exerts pressure on global economic growth.

As Anadol reports with reference to the Assembly of Turkish Exporters (TİM), the total export of Turkey from January to March grew by 2.5% compared to the same period last year and reached $ 65 billion.

At the same time, jewelry exports increased by 72.1% and amounted to 2 billion 570 million 81 thousand dollars.

In the same period last year, the sector sold products worth 1 billion 493 million 296 thousand dollars.

Exports of jewelry in January-March amounted to 3.9% of the total external sales of the country.

– UAE The largest buyer

The largest exports of jewelry products fell on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – $ 1.2 billion.

In addition, export to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $ 88 million, $ 78.6 million to Libya.
