“Turkish armed forces have means and opportunities for the implementation of the tasks assigned to them on the safe evacuation of Turkish or foreign citizens from Lebanon and previously successfully conducted many evacuation events. In addition, Akturk said that from January 1, the Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 2049 terrorists, including 1046 in the northern part of Iraq and 1003 in the north of Syria. Over the past week alone, 36 terrorists were neutralized in these regions, he said.
