During the operations of the Turkish Armed Forces, 45 terrorists were neutralized over the past week, including in the north of Iraq and Syria. This was stated at a briefing by an adviser to relations with the press and public of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey Rear Admiral Zeki Akturg.
He noted that the Turkish defense department, together with all the structures subordinate to it, as well as state institutions, continues to ensure the security of the country.
Operations carried out in the framework of the fight against terrorism and aimed at eliminating threats, which are based on the outside, continue in the most decisive way, ”Akturk emphasized.
According to him, the total number of terrorists neutralized from January 1 of this year reached 2194.
Two more terrorists of the RKK who escaped from their shelters in the north of Iraq, lay down their weapons and surrendered to the Turkish military in the Khabur region, – Akturk added.
