The Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey Ali Yerlika said that during June 2023, 13,138 operations were carried out in the country against persons involved in the terrorist organization of the RSC, which made it possible to neutralize 65 militants.
The head of the department shared on Tuesday in social networks the latest statistics on the fight against manifestations of terrorism.
According to Yerlikai, from among anti -terrorist operations – 43 were large or medium -sized.
On suspicion of involvement in the bloody organization of the RSC, 418 people were detained, of which 112 were arrested by the decision of the courts.
“I congratulate law enforcement agencies for a successful and round -the -clock struggle against crime. The fight against terrorism will continue until the eradication of this misfortune,” the Turkish minister was assured.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that since 1984, when the militants of the RSC for the first time had carried out a bloody crime in Turkey, tens of thousands of security forces and civilians of Turkey died at the hands of this bloody organization.
The United States and the European Union introduced PKK to the lists of terrorist organizations.
Despite Ankara’s attempts to find ways to settle the situation, the PKK terrorist organization has resumed armed attacks since July 2015.
In recent years, PKK seeks to shift responsibility for bloody crimes in the region to its branches. In Syria, PKK terrorists are hiding behind the names of Pyd and YPG, and in the last two years they call themselves “Syrian democratic forces.” In Iran, PKK acts as “Party of Free Life of Kurdistan” (pjak).
