Turkish Ornithologist visited “Lonely House of World”

Ornithologist Emin Yogurtchuoglu, who went to Iceland to conduct research, had the opportunity to observe the island of Hellenizes for about a month on the island of sea parrots, a thistle -tailed storm tones and various marine birds. This island is also known for the fact that the most isolated and lonely house in the world is located here.

Yogurtchuoglu, tracking the endangered and little -known species of birds in Turkey and in the world, told the Anadolu (AA) correspondent about the details of his work in Iceland.

The scientist says that the island of Ellidei, who always attracts special attention, is located at the northern tip of the Westmann Islands in the south of the country. He received an official permission to travel from Icelandic ornithologists.

He was included in the British team that conducted research on the island.

According to Yogurtkuooglu, his excitement increased even more when he found out that the most distant house in the world is on the island of Ellide.

“When I announced this trip to my subscribers, the reaction was enthusiastic. This house became very popular on social networks. I talked about how I watched birds, recorded and distributed what attracted my attention. It caused a huge Interest, ”says the Turkish ornithologist.

The only house on the island is built for hunting for sea parrots.

Ellidey Island is a habitat of sea parrots, whirlwind storms and many sea birds.

“I became the first Turk to visit the island, which causes me special excitement and pride. North America and New Zealand will be my next route,” Emin Yogurtchuoglu said in conclusion.
