Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived on Thursday in Astana to participate in the 10th summit of the organization of Turkic states (OTG).
Private TC-Tur aircraft with the Turkish leader on board landed at the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport.
The Head of State in the Air Harbor in Astana was met by the Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov, Turkey Ambassador to Astana Mustafa Kapuja, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ankara Erkebulan Sapiev and other officials.
The head of state is accompanied by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayractar, Minister of Trade of Omer Bolat, head of the Council of Elders OTG Binaly Yildirom, head of the National Intelligence Organization Ibrahim Kalyn, Glaa of the Presidential Administration Fakhretin Altun.
Erdogan will take part in the 10th Summit OTG, which will be held in Astana on the topic “Turkic era”.
The chairmanship of OTG at the summit will be transferred from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan. Leaders will discuss efforts on the further development of cooperation in the framework of the organization of Turkic states and exchange views on current global and regional problems.
