Turkish President Recep Tayyip held a meeting with Algeria President Abdulmadzhid Tebbun.
According to the Delivery Department under the administration of the Turkish leader, the meeting took place in the fields of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Leaders discussed bilateral political and economic relations, as well as regional and international issues. Erdogan and Tebbun also touched on issues on the UN agenda.
The heads of state exchanged views on a tense situation in Africa and the ways of their settlement.
Meanwhile, commenting on the meeting with Tebbun on social networks, Erdogan said that Turkey would continue to develop bilateral relations with Algeria in all areas.
The meeting of the leaders of the two countries from the Turkish side was attended by the Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayractar and the Minister of Family and Social Services Makhinur Ozdemir Goktash.
