Turkish President Discussed Struggle With Forest Fires With President Of Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the Directorate for Relations under the Presidential Administration, the heads of state discussed bilateral relations, regional and world issues.

During the conversation, the President of Azerbaijan expressed solidarity in connection with forest fires that covered Turkey.

Aliyev emphasized that he was ready to provide any support in the fight against forest fires and stated that he instructed to prepare a fire aircraft in this frame to participate in fires in Turkey.

The Turkish President, in turn, thanked the Azerbaijani people for their support and noted that fraternal relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan are becoming even stronger at such difficult moments.
