Turkish Religious Fund Assisted Residents Of Northern Regions Of Mali

The Turkish Religious Fund (TDV), on the occasion of the month of the month of the month, Ramazan provided food assistance to the inhabitants of the northern regions of Mali affected by conflict.

The distribution of grocery sets, including 5 kg of oil, 10 kg of rice, 2 kg of pasta, 3 kg of sugar and tea, was organized in the area of ​​the marcal near the city of Segu. In addition, Iftar was organized in the same region (conversation, evening meal in Muslims).

The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkish to Bamako Efa Jaylan, who drew attention to the destabilizing role of terrorists in Mali, also took part in the provision of humanitarian aid.

“The northern part of Mali is completely captured by terrorists, but the government is struggling to fight control. They are trying to return peace, happiness and joy to the country. I am very pleased to be present here. We want to relieve and share your pain. I am here as a representative of the Turkish Republic of Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” he said.

The ambassador noted that between the head of the Turkish state and President Mali Assimi Goit, good ties were established.

“We strive to develop our relations with all the countries of Africa in all areas. We develop relations with both other countries and our brothers who were in a difficult situation due to the war. We provided training for a large number of Malines in Turkey,” he added.

Meanwhile, the TDV representative in West Africa Furkan Faruk Taza said that the Fund has been operating in Mali for 7 years.

“In order to provide assistance to the needy population, Mali is implemented such as the distribution of food sets and drilling of water wells. The Turkish religious fund scored more than 31,200 heads of cattle, distributed over 20 thousand food sets and contributed to the opening of 65 wells,” he said.
