Turkish Swimmer Kusey Tunchelli Set Three Records At European Championship In Vilnius

Turkish swimmer Kusey Tunchelli set several records at the European Swimming Championship among juniors in Vilnius.

As the Tunity Swimming Federation reported, Tunchelli for the second time became the European champion at a distance of 1,500 m of freestyle style, demonstrating the result of 14.41.89.

in the final.

The Turkish swimmer broke the records of world and European championships among juniors, as well as a new record of Turkey among children in the age category 17, 18 and 19+ with the same result.

The owner of a gold medal in competitions in Vilnius also became a Turkish swimmer Nusrat Allahverdi, who demonstrated the result of 27.60 at a distance of 50 meters by Brasce. Akhmet Yshyk won silver at a distance of 200 meters with a result of 1.48.04, and Muhammad Yusuf Ozden – bronze at a distance of 1,500 meters (result – 15.19.56 meters).

Thus, the Turkish swimmers in the first two days of the championship in the Lithuanian capital won four medals.

In addition, the Turkish swimmer Ela Ozdemir took fourth place at a distance of 200 meters, Belis Shakar -fifth place at a distance of 400 meters, Zeynep Selin Shahin – Seventh place at a distance of 400 meters, Tunier Berk Ertyurk – sixth place at a distance of 200 meters and Eren Kuru – seventh place at a distance of 200 meters.
