Turkish Taekwondoists Took First Place In Team Standings At Balkan Championship

Turkish athletes took first place in the team standings at the 24th Balkan Taekwondo Championship in Romania.

As reported in the Turkish federation for Taekwondo, the championship was held in the city of Orada with the participation of 475 athletes from eight countries.

Turkish Taekwondoists won 76 medals at competitions and in the team standings were the first in all disciplines.

Turkey was played by 94 athletes who won 30 gold, 30 silver and 16 bronze medals.

Thekwondoists from Turkey won 21 medal (10 gold, 7 silver, 4 bronze) in the category “adults”, 31 medal (11 gold, 12 silver, 8 bronze) – in the “Uniors” category and 24 medals (9 gold, 11 silver, 4 bronze) – in the category “Stars”. Türkiye also received the championship in the male and female teams.
