At the 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, matches of the 2nd round of the group stage of the Women’s Volleyball tournament took place.
In group C, the national teams of Turkey and the Dominican Republic were met.
Turkish volleyball players won with a score of 3: 1 (21:25, 25:18, 25:22, 25:15).
Thus, the Turkish Women’s Volleyball Team won the second consecutive victory at the 2024 Olympics.
In the starting match, the Turkish woman beat the Netherlands with a score of 3: 2.
The Minister of Youth and Sports of Turkey Osman Ashkin Buck was watching the match in the rostrum.
Active support for the Turkish team was provided by compatriots who arrived at the game from various cities of France and other European countries.
Now the volleyball players of the Turkish national team will have a match against the Italian team. The meeting will be held on Sunday, August 4.
