Türkiye Adopted Command Of United Operational Group In Gulf Of Aden

The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey announced the adoption of the command of the United Operational Group (CTF-151), which was created to combat pirates against merchant ships in the Gulf of Aden.

The statement of the Ministry of National Defense notes that the command of the United Operational Group (CTF-151) at the headquarters of the combined naval forces (CMF) in the capital of Bahrain Manama, transferred from Brazil to Turkey.

The statement recalls that the CTF-151 command has already been carried out six times by Turkey. According to this message, in the period from July 24, 2024 to January 22, 2025 this will happen for the seventh time.
