Türkiye And Great Britain Signed Memorandum Of Understanding In Framework Of “Dialogue In Energy And Climate”

The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Alparslan Bayractar, as part of his negotiations in London, met with the Minister of Energy Security and Pure Production of Great Britain Ed Miliband.

Bayractar said that a memorandum of understanding of “Energy and Climate Dialogue and Climate” was signed between Turkey and Great Britain.

According to this information, as a result of negotiations, a memorandum of understanding “Dialogue in Energy and Climate” was signed, covering such important areas of cooperation as a transition to pure energy, low -carbon hydrogen economy, modernization of energy systems, regional relationships and small modular reactors.

In his publication on the social network, X Bayractar noted: “We are on a visit to London and continue to sign investment agreements that systematically and decisively advance our country to advanced places in the energy sector.”

According to him, the signed Memorandum of Understanding is a step towards ensuring the security and independence of the energy supply of Turkey and will benefit the economy of both countries.

As part of the Alparslan Bayrakratta visit, on November 29, at a meeting with investors on “green” financing organized by JP Morgan, negotiations with representatives of the world energy community.

Minister Bayractar will also meet with the highest management of UK Export Finance (UKEF), representatives of Rolls Royce and BP, and then talk with representatives of the press.
