The diplomat noted that Turkish defense enterprises began to show great interest in cooperation with Great Britain. In this context, as he indicated, the Turkish defense company recently bought shares of the British defense company.
“Once again, within the framework of the IDEF-23 (16th International Office of the Defense Industry), our large defense industry company signed a partnership agreement with an important company in the UK. All this is encouraging the future. We will continue to support such a strategic approach in our relations in the defense and industrial sphere, ”said Ertash.
The Turkish diplomat noted that one of the positive points of the agenda between Turkey and Great Britain is tourism. He recalled that last year, about 3.4 million tourists from Britain visited Turkey.
The ambassador emphasized that the UK ranks third in the number of tourists in Turkey.
Ertash also spoke about wellness tourism, which has been developing in Turkey recently.
