Türkiye and Greece are aimed at further expansion of bilateral cooperation.
This was said by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a meeting with Greek colleague Katerina Sakelpropulu in Athens.
According to the head of state, as part of his visit to Greece, steps will be discussed to increase the volume of mutual turnover from the current 5.5 billion to $ 10 billion.
The Turkish leader expressed confidence that the meeting of the Strategic Council of a high level of Turkey-Greek will contribute to “strengthen and continuation of a new era” in relations between Ankara and Athens.
Katerina Sakellaropulu, in turn, noted that Greece and Turkey “more important than ever to develop the existing positive political will.”
