Türkiye and Kazakhstan agreed to continue to deepen the expanded strategic partnership.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, bilateral political consultations were held in Astana, chaired by Kazakhstan Foreign Ministers Alibek Bakayev and Turkey Nukh Yilmaz.

“During the consultations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields. The analysis of political interaction was conducted and prospects in the trade, economic, investment and cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed. In particular, the Turkish side expressed interest in investing in large projects in the field Agriculture of Kazakhstan. Also, the heads of delegations discussed the possibilities of intensifying interaction in the field of science and education, information technology and medicine, ”the statement said.

The parties exchanged views on current issues of the international and regional agenda and considered a state of preparation for the upcoming bilateral events at the highest and high levels planned at 2024.

The delegations confirmed the readiness to continue close and mutually beneficial cooperation in the framework of the organization of the Turkic states, emphasizing the need to use the relevant mechanisms and regulations for the effective implementation of the tasks and goals of the organization.
