Türkiye And Somalia Signed 2 Agreements In Field Of Judicial System

Türkiye and Somali signed agreements “On the transfer of prisoners” and “On judicial assistance in criminal cases.”

The Minister of Justice of Turkey Yilmaz Tunch met with the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Somalia Hassan Moalin Muhamud Sheikhali and the accompanying delegation at the Ministry of Justice.

Speaking at the meeting, Tunch said that this visit is important for the exchange of ideas on legal issues between two countries, development and further cooperation in the judicial sphere.

He stated that the Somalian people occupy a special and privileged place in the hearts of the Turkish people, adding that relations between the two countries have a long history.

The Minister noted that after the visit of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Somalia in 2011, Turkish institutes sincerely work to take steps to strengthen safety and stability in Somalia and contribute to the well -being and world of the Somali people.
