Türkiye and UAE open new page in economic relations

Tomorrow an agreement on a comprehensive economic partnership between Turkey and the UAE is entering into force.

It is expected that thanks to this document, economic relations between Ankara and Abu Dhabi will enter into a new era.

The agreement was signed on March 3 in Abu Dhabi.

The ceremony in the video conference mode was attended by Turkish Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the UAE Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zaid Al Nahayan.

The document covers not only the trade in goods, but also all additional aspects of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

In particular, the parties plan to simplify the process of mutual investment.

It is assumed that the agreement will become a powerful tool that meets the expectations and interests of the two countries due to the maximum expansion of the volume of bilateral trade and mutual investment.

In this context, it is planned to increase the volume of mutual turnover over 5 years from the current 5 billion dollars to $ 10 billion.
