under the auspices of the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Emine Erdogan, the Ministry of Family and Social Support of the Turkish Republic and the Ministry of Social Development of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a memorandum of understanding of cooperation in the field of social services.
During the ceremony in the presidential complex, Minister of Family and Social Services Makhinur Ozdemir Goktash on behalf of Turkey and Minister of Social Development Shamma Bint Sucheil Faris Al Mazrui signed a memorandum of understanding.
The Ministry of Family and Social Support of the Turkish Republic and the Fund of Charitable and Humanitarian Assistance named after Zaid Bin Sultan Al Nahayan decided to cooperate in the field of reconstruction, maintenance and development of the Shah Zaid orphanage center in Istanbul.
Memorandum of mutual understanding on behalf of the ministry was signed by the General Director of the Children’s Affairs Service Aishegul Yyldyrym Kara and the Director General of the Foundation Muhammad Atik al Falahi.
In his speech, Minister Goktash noted that cooperation between the united Arab emirates and Turkey is based on a deep relationship.
“In this regard, I am very glad and proud to sign these two documents under the guidance of a respected lady. I hope that our bilateral cooperation will continue to grow. I believe that we will take important steps thanks to cooperation in the field of social services. We do for disabled people, women, women and children, I really hope that this is the beginning of our cooperation, and I hope that it will continue, ”said the Goktash Minrro.
The Minister of Social Development of the UAE Shamma Bint Suhel Faris Al Mazrui said that thanks to this cooperation, a very important progress was achieved in relations with Turkey, and wished that the agreement was useful for both countries.
Agreements
as part of the Memorandum of Understanding of Cooperation in the Field of Social Services between the two ministries, the exchange of information, experience and examples of advanced practice will be carried out in order to strengthen family and women, develop women employment policy, ensure the full and effective participation of disabled people in public life, and assistance active old age, development and increase in the efficiency of social services provided to families, women, children, disabled people and the elderly.
Memorandum of mutual understanding of reconstruction, maintenance and development of the orphanage of the Seaha Zaida in Istanbul, provides for the restoration of a rehabilitation center, an orphanage, a sports center, landscaping, infrastructure and mosque on the territory of the campus, as well as the construction of a scientific and technical town.
