Turkey and the UAE will develop cooperation in the field of space technology and artificial intelligence. This was reported by the agency “Anadol” by the Minister of Industry and Technologies of Turkey Mehmet Fatikh Kajir.
According to him, this is provided for by agreements signed on the eve of Ankara and Abu Dabi as part of the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the UAE.
In particular, he noted that the memorandum of understanding of cooperation in the field of digital transformation will allow projects to implement projects in the creation of data processing and artificial intelligence.
The head of the department added that the agreement on the promotion and mutual protection of investments will create a legal basis for a transparent investment environment for investors of the two countries.
The minister expressed confidence that the economic relations of Turkey and the UAE will expand by strengthening the mutual investment climate.
The head of the department also touched the Memorandum about the mutual understanding of the development of general capabilities in the field of launch vehicles for commercial purposes.
Kajir explained that this document is aimed at increasing the share of the two countries in the rapidly developing “space economy”.
According to him, strategic cooperation on the basis of this agreement will create opportunities for the formation of a joint start base in this industry and development of missile missiles.
The minister is confident that thanks to joint research and projects, relations between Turkey and the UAE will reach an even higher level.
