The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey has published on Saturday the text of a joint statement adopted following the results of the fifth meeting of the Turkish-Ssha strategic dialogue mechanism, held on June 23 in Washington.

The meeting participants agreed that the close interaction of Ankara and Washington in the field of defense and security contributes to the regional world.
The delegations of Turkey and the United States also considered the topic of preparation, to the NATO summit planned on July 11-12 in Lithuania.
