The volume of Turkish exports in November of this year increased by 5.2 percent compared to the same indicator of the same month of last year – to 23 billion 11 million dollars, and imports decreased by 5.6 percent to $ 28 billion. According to data prepared on the basis of a general trading system (GTS), the volume of foreign trade in Turkey in November decreased by 1.1 percent – to 51 billion 942 million dollars. At the same time, the country’s foreign trade deficit amounted to 5 billion 919 million dollars, reducing 32.6 percent during this period.
The volume of Turkish exports in January -November 2023 increased by 0.7 percent compared to the same period of 2022 – UNOS 232 billion 915 million dollars, and imports by 0.5, up to 332 billion 752 million dollars
Over the specified period, the volume of foreign trade in Turkey increased by 0.6 percent – to 565 billion 667 million dollars.
The Turkish foreign trade deficit in January-November amounted to 99 billion 836 million dollars.
In November, Germany with a volume of 1 billion 750 million dollars became the leading importer of Turkish. This is followed by the United Arab Emirates with 1 billion 460 million dollars and Iraq with 1 billion $ 285 million.
Last month, the largest export amount came to the Raw Products group (intermediate goods) with an increase of 5.2 percent and 11 billion 437 million dollars. This is followed by a group of “consumer goods” with a growth of 2.6 percent and 8 billion 176 million dollars and “investment goods” with an increase of 16.4 percent and 3 billion 276 million dollars.
