, within the framework of the agreement on preferential trade signed between Turkey and Uzbekistan, customs duties were canceled for imports of a number of goods from Uzbekistan.
The order on the use of tariff quotas when importing certain types of goods originating from the Republic of Uzbekistan, prepared by the Ministry of Trade on the basis of the Decree of the President, was published in the official messenger of the government – Resmi Gazete.

In particular, the document provides for the abolition of duties, including such Uzbek goods as onions and onions, peas (chickpeas) and plums. Within the framework of the tariff quotas under consideration, the customs duty in relation to these goods will be reset.
The decision and order will enter into force on July 1, 2023.
