The Turkish team completed participation in the III European Games in Poland with a record number of medals.
on the Euro -players, which were organized in 13 cities of Poland, 193 athletes presented Turkey, 103 of whom are women.
Turkish athletes competed in 19 different disciplines and brought a record 38 medals (nine gold, nine silver and 20 bronze) to the piggy bank.
The previous Eurogr record for the Turkish team was recorded in 2015 in Azerbaijan (29 medals). At the II European Games of 2019 in Belarus, Turkish athletes won 15 medals.
In the team standings of the Eurogr in Poland, the Turkish national team was able to enter the top 10 states (ninth position). In the 1st euro games in Baku, Turkey took 14th place of the command set-off, and in Minsk-the 24th.
Note that the Eurogras in Poland also gave licenses for 10 disciplines for participation in the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Turkish athletes were able to get 7 Olympic licenses, six of which in boxing.
