Türkiye Develops Mutually Beneficial Relations With Africa

(Turkey is developing economic relations with the countries of Africa based on the principles of mutual understanding and mutual benefits far from the colonialist approach. This was said by the Vice President of Turkish Jewdad Yilmaz during a speech at the Turkey-Senegal business forum in Istanbul.

According to him, Senegal is one of the countries of the region of West Africa, with which Ankara has close relations.

The politician emphasized the significant contribution of Senegal to ensuring stability on the African continent.

Yilmaz noted that the visit of the President of Senegal to Turkey Basser Diomay Fayya, during which he held negotiations with the Turkish colleague Recep Tayyip Erdogan, became an important step on the development of bilateral relations.

He emphasized the need to fully use the existing potential to expand the connections between Turkey and Senegal. According to him, for this purpose, Ankara and Dakar should create new mechanisms of interaction.
