Ankara evacuated 966 people from Lebanon, including 878 citizens of Turkey, 24 citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRSK) and their relatives.
According to sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about 1900 Turkey citizens reported their desire to evacuate from Lebanon.
Sources note that for the on October 10, the evacuation of 966 people, including 878 citizens of Turkey, 24 TRK citizens and 64 of their closest relatives, was involved in a Turkish ship.
Sources also refuted the information that foreign citizens are given priority when landing on the ship.

Sources reported that the number of persons who submitted preliminary applications at the Foreign Ministry amounted to 2500 people, a telephone conversation took place with them.
