Turkey evacuated 1961 of the Turkish citizen from Sudan against the backdrop of clashes between the army and rapid response forces on April 15 in this country.
This is stated in the message of the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Twitter.
, in total, the efforts of Turkey from the country’s conflict took out 2382 people.
“Today, we evacuated a total of 2382 people, including 1961 citizens of Turkey. We express gratitude to all institutions that supported our efforts to evacuate. Turkey always supports its citizens,” the publication of the diplomatic mission said.
According to the infographic attached to the publication, from the total number of evacuated 1478 people were taken through Ethiopia, 48 – through Egypt and 59 – through Saudi Arabia.
Military aircraft were involved in the evacuation of 715 people from Port Sudan and 82 people from Vadi-Sayidne.
