In Turkey on November 10, events are held, dedicated to the 86th anniversary of the death of the founder of the Turkish Republic of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

On this day in 1938, Türkiye lost the first president and founder of the republic. Since then, every year on November 10, at 09.05 (the exact time of the death of Ataturk) a minute of silence has been announced in the country.
