Turkey intends to raise relations with a friendly and fraternal Iraq to an even higher level in all areas, primarily in the field of trade, investment and logistics.
This was stated by the Minister of Trade of Turkey Omer Bolat following negotiations with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Iraqi Mohammad Ali Tamim in Baghdad.
According to Bolat, the parties discussed specific steps to further expand mutual investments and bilateral trade.
“We presented the opportunity to bear our expectations regarding interaction in the customs sphere, the sphere of import and standardization,” he said.
There was also an exchange of views on the regard of the contribution, which Turkish contractors can make new cities and new regions, the construction of which is planned by the Iraq authorities.
The Minister of Trade of Turkey Omer Bolat, accompanied by a delegation of Turkish entrepreneurs, arrived in Iraq on a visit.
