Türkiye is aimed at further expanding cooperation with the countries of Africa.
This was stated by the head of the Relations Department under the Administration of the President of Turkey Fakhretin Altun, speaking at the opening of Turkey-Africa, which is held in Istanbul,
“We believe that this forum will bring our current close cooperation to an even higher level,” Altun said.
The head of the department added that the current state of relations between Turkey and the countries of the African continent and steps to strengthen these connections will be considered.
Altun emphasized Turkey’s desire to consider Africa not “through its negative aspects, but through its true potential and dynamism.”
