Turkey is the only country that has succeeded in negotiations regarding the conditions of peaceful settlement in Ukraine. This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Ankara Vasily Bodnar.
“Turkey has become the only country that has succeeded in negotiations on the conditions of the world,” said the diplomat, speaking at an event organized by Turkish University Bashkent.
He emphasized the role of Turkey in the international arena, as well as the country’s activities in the field of providing humanitarian aid.
According to him, Türkiye is closely interested in regional security issues. “Take a look at international organizations that we really trust. In our opinion, they are not only ineffective, but also inadequate in this regard,” the ambassador said.
touching the state of Turkish-Ukrainian relations, he noted the presence of strong and developed ties between industry sectors, state institutions and societies of two countries.
According to him, signed by Ukraine and Turkey in February 2022, the agreement on the free trade zone (ESST) contributed to the further development of bilateral relations.
Bodnar indicated that Turkey and Ukraine support each other in the field of defense industry. “Despite the war, we carry out mutually beneficial cooperation,” he said.
According to him, with the assistance of Turkey, more than 400 food trucks were sent to Ukraine, and many Ukrainians came to the country from the beginning of the war.
