Türkiye Sent Assistance To Victims Of Flooding In Bangladesh

The Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TİKA) distributed sets with humanitarian aid among 3 thousand families in Bangladesh, who suffered from strong floods that fell on the country.

Packages include basic foods, water purification products and hygienic accessories, the Tika reported.

The action was held with the assistance of local authorities, emergency services and NGOs.

In addition, Tika launched a mobile clinic in the region. As expected, it will operate at least a month in order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and provide other assistance to the victims as a result of a natural disaster.
