Türkiye Set Record On November For Export To Kyrgyzstan

Türkiye reached the historical record of November in terms of export to Kyrgyzstan, putting goods worth $ 88.4 million. This is the highest indicator in the history of trade between countries this month.

The record has become the result of strengthening economic ties. During the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan, 19 new agreements were signed last month. In 2022, the volume of bilateral trade amounted to about $ 2 billion, and Türkiye entered the five largest investors in the economy of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the Council of Exporters of Turkey (TİM), in November 2024, export to Kyrgyzstan grew by 27.9% compared to the same period last year.

The main industries that provided the growth in November of this year jewelry ($ 37.9 million), finished clothes and textiles ($ 8.5 million), chemical products ($ 8.1 million), automotive industry (7.2 million dollars) and electrical engineering and electronics ($ 5.3 million).

Istanbul made the greatest contribution to export – the volume of supplies from Istanbul to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $ 65.8 million. It is followed by Bursa – $ 5.9 million, Ankara and Gaziantep – $ 3.3 million, Izmir – $ 2.1 million.

The jewelry sector showed the greatest increase, increasing the supply of 33.1 million dollars compared to last year.
