Turkish company Boğaziçi Savunma Teknolojileri has developed a mobile system of “radar jamming and deception” ̇lter J350.
The detection and blocking system of drones ̇lter J350 interrupts satellite communication with drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles, misleading regarding their location. This was in an interview with the correspondent of the Anadolu agency by Boğaziçi Savunma Teknolojaleri Director General Jewed, Kaplan.
According to him, the company introduced at the recently ended defense exhibition Saha Expo three types of drone protection systems.
“This system has been produced by our company for 6 years. At present, we have been releasing its third version. About 1000 units of our products have been in service with Turkish power structures for 5-6 years, and are also exported abroad,” said he said He.
Kaplan noted that using the system any drone or its user can be found within a radius of 10 -20 kilometers. “The coordinates of the drone and the user will be displayed on the map. Thus, the drone is not just knocking down, but its user is also detected,” the general director explained.
Kaplan said that the company also developed more overall products – a mobile system of radar interference and deceit İlter Tunç. According to him, it was developed for the Main Directorate of the Gendarmerie Turkey.
“This system is designed to intercept all types of drones in the borders and in vast territories. It includes a radar and electro-optical system. At the request of the customer, the Hardkill option, that is, missile and weapons systems,” he shared information
CEO added that the system can easily be transported using an armored personnel carrier and any trucks. “Detection can be carried out using a radar and electro-optical systems. It is also possible to detect radio frequencies from 400 megagez to 6 gigaigers. Unmanned aerial vehicles are found at a distance of up to 25-30 kilometers,” he said.
According to Kaplan, the system provides for the possibility of jamming of detected drones. The spectrum of interference ranges from 20 megagez to 18 gigaigers.
