The telephone conversation of the chairman of the Hulk Maslahata (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the emir of the state Katar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Tanya took place. This was reported by the International Information Center (MIC) of Turkmenistan.
Chairman of the Hulk Maslahatta noted that Turkmenistan highly appreciates the relations established in recent years and attaches great importance to their expansion in all priority areas, and also expressed sincere gratitude to Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Tanya for its contribution to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
In turn, the emir of the state of Katar emphasized the significance of the multifaceted activity of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in strengthening traditionally friendly interstate relations, and also conveyed the best wishes to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The interlocutors noted that Turkmenistan and Qatar successfully cooperate both on a bilateral basis and through international structures.
In addition, the most important area of interstate cooperation is trade and economic relations.
In this regard, the chairman of the Hulk Maslahatata emphasized on the prospects of Turkmen-Cataro-Catar, among which are spheres such as the oil and gas sector, chemical and textile industry, investment block, transport and trading industries. It was also assumed that on the basis of the existing potential and accumulated positive experience in these areas, mutually beneficial projects will be successfully implemented.
Chairman of the Hulk Maslahatta confirmed the commitment of Turkmenistan to traditional mutually beneficial relations with Qatar, expressing the confidence that the established interstate dialogue in the name of the well -being and prosperity of the two countries and peoples will continue to develop.
