In Ashgabat, an agreement was signed between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Federal Council of Switzerland on the mutual cancellation of visa requirements for owners of diplomatic and official passports, as well as agreements between the government of Turkmenistan and the Federal Council of Switzerland on the Readmissions of Persons without permission.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Turkmenistan (with the residence in the city of Baku) Thomas Steli, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in celebrations in honor of the International Neutral Day.
During the meeting, the parties considered promising areas of cooperation between the two countries in the political, diplomatic, economic, economic and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
