Two earthquakes occurred in the west of Georgia, southeast of the city of Oni in Kvemo Svaneti, Sputnik Georgia reports with reference to the Republic’s National Center for Seismic Monitoring.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the village of Oncheli southeast of the city of Oni in the Racha Lechkhumi region, 147 kilometers from Tbilisi.
Tremors were recorded at 14:55 local time. The epicenter was at a depth of 12 kilometers.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.7. An hour earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 occurred in the same place.
There is no information about casualties and destruction.
